Infectious Features of Canine Distemper

Infectious Features of Canine Distemper:

  1. Frequent infection time: It occurs frequently in spring and winter, and occurs frequently from October to April of the following year.
  2. Targets of infection: Canine distemper can be infected by dogs of different ages, genders and breeds under natural conditions.
  3. Dog age susceptible to canine plague: As young dogs can obtain antibodies from breast milk, they rarely get sick. Puppies between 2 months and 1 year old are usually the most susceptible to infection. And there is a trend toward younger age (1 month old). "Dogs from 2 months to 3 years old" and "dogs older than 10 years" are easily contagious.
  4. Canine distemper does not infect people.

Prevention:

Do a good job in the disinfection of the dog's living environment and supplies. Do not use disinfectant with pungent odor and irritating to the skin.
